NPU-T Supports PAD
Recently, despite overwhelming community support for the program, funding for Atlanta’s Policing Alternatives and Diversion Initiative (PAD) has come into jeopardy.
Yesterday, NPU-T sent a letter of support for PAD to the Atlanta City Council, and that letter was read to the Council during public comment.
Thanks in large part to the community’s input, the City Council proceded to approve PAD’s contract.
