Trees, Airbnbs, and Par-tees

If you attended our February meeting, you know that Atlanta is asking each NPU to weigh in on three proposed ordinance amendments. NPU-T will be voting on whether or not to support the amendments at our March meeting. The Department of City Planning posted a webinar designed to explain and make their case in favor of the ordinances. You can read the amendments themselves here.

Some organizations outside the DCP are offering their own perspectives on these ordinances as well. Trees Atlanta will be hosting this lunch and learn on the tree ordinance this Tuesday, 2/25. Abundant Housing Atlanta wrote an open letter against the Party House ordinance. No outside perspectives have been found online regarding short-term rental ordinance, but the city did post some bullet-points about it that you can read.

Hopefully after reviewing these resources you can come to our March 12th meeting informed and ready to vote!
