An early evening of creativity, expression, and connection at Brown Skin Voices: Writing Session & Open Mic on Sunday, February 16th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Westview Maker Space in Atlanta, GA.

This event is designed to create a supportive and empowering space to celebrate Black History Month. We're sharing our voices through writing, spoken word, and music. Whether you're an experienced writer, singer, hip hop artist, musician or just starting your creative journey, come participate in our collaborative writing session and share your work during the open mic portion.

What to Expect:

  • Writing Session: A guided session to spark your creativity and help you develop your writing.

  • Open Mic: An opportunity to share your poems, stories, or songs with an encouraging audience.

  • Community Connection: Meet like-minded individuals and build connections in a warm, inclusive environment.
